Davidsonville Tour - Sunday June 24, 2007
41 and 61 mile options Eastern Shore at it’s finest, and you will not even have to cross the Bay Bridge to get there!!
This is many of our members favorite ride. We begin in Davidsonville, and take country roads through Anne Arundel County. We will eventually be led to Chesapeake Beach where we can rest and refuel at the pavillion on the boardwalk and take in the grand view of the Chesapeake Bay. This ride is a treasure for all to enjoy, and though much of it is flat, there are many rolling hills to savor. We will definitely be serving watermelon as part of our refueling food, and some riders in the past have even been known to refresh by taking a dip in the Bay when they got to the second rest stop at the Beach!!Hope to see you there!!! Registration Opens at 8:00 A.M. and closes promptly at 9:00 A.M.
Please plan on arriving early - the official tour start will be 9:00.
Directions to start (Southern High School)
- From 495 Take 50 east for approximately 14 miles
- Or from MD 97 Take 50 west
- Exit on MD 424 South (Davidsonville Road)
- Proceed on MD 424 (becomes Birdville road)
- Turn right on MD 2 (Solomans Island road)
- Proceed to the school on the right

Important Things to remember:

| All AC tours require riders to wear helmets. |
Bring enough food and drink to make it to the 1st rest stop. |
It is always a good idea to a have spare tube and some inflation device (pump, CO2). |
Please be sure to make a ""pit stop"" prior to arriving at the tour start. |
